Review: A Court of Wings and Ruin | A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Wings and Ruin

Feyre will bring vengeance.

She has left the Night Court - and her High Lord - and is playing a deadly game of deceit. In the Spring Court, Tamlin is making deals with the invading king treatening to bring Prythian to its knees and Feyre is determined to uncover his plans. But to do so she must weave a web of lies, and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.

As mighty armies grapple for power, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords - and hunt for allies in unexpected places.

But while war rages, it is her heart that will face the greatest battle.

My Rating: 4/5

A Court of Frost and Starlight

On the darkest night, the stars still shine.

Feyre's first Winter Solstice as High Lady is drawing near. With it will come a hard-earned rest from the work she, Rhys and their friends have done to rebuild the Night Court and the vastly changed world beyond. Yet the festive atmostphere can't keep shadows from looming. Even as her own heart heals, she finds that those dearest to her have wounds that go deeper than she knew.

And the scars of the past will touch her court in times to come.

My Rating: 4/5

These two books are a continuation of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas that I have previously reviewed, which you can find here and here. My opinions on the world and character building are the same, they are fantastic!

As I have said previously, and as is stated on the books themselves, these books are not suitable for young readers. Recommended for 15+.
